While I agree that Lowes shouldn't be open (to the general public), it is deemed vital to construction, which is not going to be shut down.  The people going in there for herbs, mulch, and sprinklers shouldn't be allowed in.  If you don't have a GC license, or can't prove that you work in active construction, you should be turned away at the door.

And I too feel bad for the workers, but I'm sure that many of them are happy to have jobs still.

Yeah, I've got to disagree here. Beyond basic repairs, there are a lot of folks, our family included, that are taking the time to start container gardening vegetables and herbs. Grabbing a couple of bags of potting soil and some pots is for the good and could add to our supplies as the season wears on.

Basically, here's the deal: what is an essential thing to one person may not be to another and vice versa. I don't see a reason to go golfing, but there they are zipping up and down the fairways today, one to a cart, but clustering at the holes. But it's not my place to get my panties in a wad. Those might be doctors who are getting a few moments off or something like that.

We're going to be alright, eventually. Just be cool.

Seen a lot of this lately.

I have no clue, can someone give me a hint wtf this is?

OMFG stop what you are doing and go watch TIGER KING on Netflix. It is without a doubt, one the best Docuseries ever created and there is no better time on earth than to watch this shitshow than now.

I'm more than willing to help with food, water, and necessities if anyone is closer to the Tennessee border. Please message if you need help!

I need a burger and foot long hotdog from City Drive in. I can meet you at the top of iron mountain.

Officially listed the house today. I think we might be 3-4 weeks too late, but we'll see. What we have working for us is that we're pretty much the only decent house on the market in the area under $600k.

I really do not like doing showings right now given the current situation. I guess I should feel fortunate we're actually getting showings. Our realtor has done a great job of creating 3D scans and a virtual walk through online to limit looky loos.  He's making sure all showings are to pre-qualified buyers who have used the online tools to ensure they're very interested before doing a physical showing. I still don't like it.

That's true, but pavers, mulch, paint, etc....isn't quite the same.

Not really sure how to handle this, no one is, but I do wish people would have a little more empathy...until recently, you would not believe how little Wilmington has paid attention to this.

I can't speak for Wilmington, but Winston Salem has been a ghost town for 3-4 weeks now.

How are you dealing with having possibly asymptomatic folk poking through all of the corners of your home?

The idea that someone who was infected was looking in a linen closet would keep me up at night.

Basically how we're handling it is that there's no showing without my realtor present. Shoes off, facemasks on, don't touch poo. Lysol wipes available if you do touch something.

Then I still come home and clean like a neurotic meth fueled madman for an hour before I let my family back in
