I agree on UBI.

But you are blatantly missing the point, these millions of employees did fend for themselves, Many of them spent decades of their life working and building a pension/401K. If you take away the employer, you take away up to 30% of the money they made over their lifetime that they were looking forward to retiring with. That’s not fair to them. Over an obsession with CEO’s.

Why not focus on CEO’s + executive boards and not killing the employees. Or how about we focus on overly inflated tax credits for corporations.

Businesses fail, it's a fact of life.  If you took an aggressive approach to your 401k, that's on you.  The stock market has been blazing along for 10+ years now, it was due for a correction.  The reason these businesses are failing in less than 1 month isn't because of the virus.  It's because they took an ultra aggressive approach to growth on the assumption that the government would bail them out like they have.  The common man isn't seeing any additional pay from this aggressive growth, only the top 5% are.  And Trump just got done giving them a huge corporate taxcut.  What was that for?  So these oligarchs could stuff their Cayman Islands accounts?

Just the top 5% huh?

“Delta employees earned the $1.1 billion payout for their role in delivering record-breaking operational and customer satisfaction performance as well as strong financial performance.” For the fourth year. So delta gave 1.1 out of their 4.87 profit back to employees this year, that’s 20%~ of their profit back to employees.

Do you know how much money it takes to become a commercial pilot?  It's pretty much impossible for a common man to become a pilot unless they join the military and even then flying a commercial airplane is a pipe dream for most.

Why pilots? That’s all employees. Down to the janitors.

So, why do they need a bailout then?  If Delta already paid these employees an extra 2 months of work, they should be fine.

Again, you are clearly missing the point and showing an extreme lack of understanding to this. Employees put in hard work and got a bonus. You are suggesting their bonus be taken away for their work last year because of something out of their control this year.

You are the one not understanding.  Nobody made them work for a company that underpays them and then gives them regular pay if the company turns a few billions of profits for corporate.  It's a racket and if companies that profit billions of dollars seriously can't survive a 2 month shutdown, they shouldn't exist.

Let the businesses fail, this is ridiculous that we have to bail out companies who are paying their CEOs an average pay of 271-1 worker ratio.  You're telling me these "genius CEOS" who are worth 271 times the average worker's pay can't figure out how to save enough money for a 2 month shutdown without crying for bailouts?

but yet you wanna blame diversity? What ever!

Diversity was a trick by these snakes to hire people that would accept 60% less starting pay.  It's all a racket to squeeze every last dollar out of America.  I say let it die instead of feeding the beast.

Delta currently is losing 10 million a day. they had around 650 million in cash and around 8 billion in assets to draw loans from.  Currently flights are carrying about 6 to 8 percent loads and losing money.  All the airline have cut April schedule by 70% and may by 80%.  But airlines have fix expense (payroll, gate spaces and aircraft)  that they have to be paid.

If you do as you say and let the companies fail. Then there would be no airlines left to fly people once the economy recovers.

So if I am making 20k and some one offers me 60k to replace you who is making 80k while the people who are making the offer pay goes from 150k to 200k, all the while they tell you how great your community is,  you blame me??? OK

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
