Luke could be argued as a top 10 all time NFL defender, in my opinion, and is the best Panther ever at his peak. I chose Smitty though because of longevity and heart and soul, and I think in a passing offense with consistency at QB he would be 2nd behind only Rice in receiving yards right now.

Peppers

Also, Jake and Walls shouldn’t even be mentioned as they weren’t even the best at their positions within the franchise; ie, Olsen is better than Walls.

You know they ALWAYS have to make Jake out to better than he actually was. So much ''grit.''

Cameron Jerrell Newton gets my vote. Luke is my second choice followed by Smitty.
