I was skeptical a few months back but more and more it looks like T.Franchise will lead us to the playoffs and beyond

It's pretty clear the Panthers were promising him the starting job when they were in negotiations.

For whatever you think of the situation, he comes across as a good guy. Definitely seems to be someone you can cheer for.

Bridgewater demonstrated the ability to read defenses and run a pro style system back when he was in college. The biggest question I had about him was whether his body could hold up to the kind of beating he'd take as a pro.

When he got injured so badly in Minnesota, that looked like a valid concern. But since then he's worked his way back from it and was able to play efficiently for the Saints last season. That's also a pleasant surprise since he looked like dog flop in the season ending game against Kyle Allen.

Here's hoping he and Brady work well together.

I’m rooting for Teddy and I hope he succeeds. Hopefully, as a fan, I don’t have to go through another QB change for a long time.

no kidding, heh.

I think Teddy seems like a good person and has room to become a great QB.  He has big shoes to fill but I look forward to seeing him play, and hope he excels.

So far my opinion about this move  hasn't changed...

TB is here for a opportunity and a chance to help a quicker turnaround on this rebuild..

He and the team are taking a chance on each other.. While still  being in position for a Tepper tear down.. 

I knew he has some assurances and promises from the coaching staff and FO before he signed here for less money then he could have gotten..

They aren't drafting a QB this year just by the way he talked..

"Success" might be a relative term.

If he serves as a good fill in and mentor while the team prepares their next franchise quarterback, then after that slides into the backup role, is that a success?

I'd say that's better than what happens to a lot of guys, so for me it's a yes. Others might disagree.
