Hats off to Drew Brees for helping N.O.

@rippadonnwas right... this team and fans are now Saints uber-wannabes, top to bottom.

This is more important than football. Drew and his wife are doing something very important for the people of this world. If football and being a Panthers fan is more important to you, you have a serious problem.

You can argue he's the best ever. This was a good deed.

BUT BUT SAINTS ... DERP DERP.

Huge respect for Drew aside from him joining the Saints. I was hoping the Panthers would call San Diego. The uniforms and organization aren't fit for respect.

I like Mike Vick...... Eagles Vick, ATL Vick no.

I have a long-time friend that lives just north of NOLA.  I don't think he would know a Saints helmet from a Seahawks helmet, but he was telling me today NOLA is rapidly becoming coronavirus central.

Glad to hear Brees and his wife are taking care of their community.  I've never had any problems with Brees, except wanting our DL to torture him when we play.

There are some generous athletes in all sports.  We usually only hear about the trouble, and many of them don't want limelight for the charitable work and donations they make.  What's the old CS Lewis quote, integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching?

I wish I had just signed a 50 million dollar contract and had that much in the bank. Obviously he is doing a great service to his community but let's be real here. As a percentage of income I give and donate at least 10% of my income to charity and things I care about and I don't need to advertise it or have it reported in the news to boost my ego. Honestly I would be more impressed if he had donated the money anonymously.
