"And the Panthers have won the Super Bowl with Teddy Bridgewater!"

Does anyone think we'll ever hear that? No? Then draft a QB.

Super Bowls have been won with guys like Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Nick Foles and a guy that used to be Peyton Manning before, so yes it's possible.

Not this year, mind you. This season, we're not winning jack sh-t.

Cam!! Cam!! STFU!! So tired of it!! He was good not great!!  Very inaccurate throwing!! His running made him good.. but as a whole for QB!! Not good.. his melt down after the SuperBowl disappointed me!! I lost respect for him.. thanks for your service!! Better luck with your new team

What is funny is if Cam does land a starting gig somewhere, it will be for a much smaller contract than he was asking for.  Yet the first time he runs for a first down or throws a TD pass, the huggers will be coming out of the woodwork.

You do not pay $30m unless you know what you have.  Period.  Now take your posters off the ceiling above your beds and blow out the candles in your closet shrine to Cam.  Time to move on.

I guess Jacksonville missed that memo when they signed Nick Foles to that massive deal huh? 4 years 88 million is what he signed. Franchise Qbs DO NOT grow on trees. I know that's not what the Huddle likes to believe but it's true. It took this Franchise almost 20 years to finally land one. Even the most "Sure fire" "Can't miss" prospects aren't a guarantee you're getting a guy that can lead an NFL Franchise to the promised land. Andrew Luck was supposed to be the GOAT, he lasted what? 7 seasons? 8? The FO better pray every night they made the right choice moving on from Cam or we simply won't be seeing this team win very many games over the next decade.

I wonder if Cam wants to pay back the 40 million he received over the past 2 years. Sure he is angry at the team but how long are they supposed to hang on handing him 20 million plus per year to not play. Honestly I hope he recovers but am not angry the Panthers moved on. This is the way it goes in the NFL.

What a take from a guy who honest to god thinks Jake Delhomme was better than cam? Where were you demanding Jake return his signing bonus after 8 tds and 18 INTs his last year?

The whole Cam is angry at the team part I cant seem to see anywhere? The fug you thing could be the team, or it could be Hurney, Rhule, Tepper or the local pizza man.

He is most likely disappointed but its not like he rips the ream like MeAngel or Smitty did. He thinks the team gave up on him, which they did. Sure we can discuss if it is the right thing to do and if if was done the right way, but the team did give up on him, so that part he is right about.

It's not the teams job to "not give up on you", as an employee it's your job to be so valuable that they wouldn't dare let you walk out the door.

When you play sports that means injuries as well as performance.  Cam really needs to stop with the hype videos, it's making him look really desperate and like a whiney B.

50 Cam threads

Jumble the titles and it would not matter.

Same people saying the same things over and over and over.

Cam's foot and shoulder will decide the outcome of his career.  No matter how upset the fan base is, or how happy the fan base is or how they love or hate coaches (former or present).

Cam is an athlete that enjoyed great success.  Any future success will depend on his foot and shoulder.

But maybe 104 new threads with the same responses will help his foot, but I have my doubts

I think this is spot on.  I love Cam and hope he heals and has continued success with another team. Not much else to say.

1. We got bits and pieces of what went on but not the entire behind the scenes details.

B.  Cam like many other players this off-season was released.

3.  Cam has been injured and hasn’t played football for a season and a half.

D.  When healthy, Cam is a very good quarterback and a beast of a football player. If he gets healthy he will do well in this league.

5.  Related to Cam’s release, Panthers FO screwed the pooch from a PR standpoint.

That is about all we can say on the matter.

Actually, your post on Cam is making YOU look like the "whiney B."

Just say you don't like the guy and keep it moving. :)

I think you misread my response. He said teams dont hand out massive deals to QBs unless the team 100% knows what they're getting. Nick Foles signed that deal from Jacksonville last year, he flopped, and is now on a different team. Not sure what you're getting at but okay
