he's comparing Cam's MVP year to Bridgewater coming off the bench for a few games lol. i don't know why he's so determined to ignore the entirety of Bridgewater's shitty career except these chosen few games as a back-up. (well actually i do know why, because they're all shitty, as previously mentioned)

I did say its a small sample size right? And I didnt pick 2019. He did. He stated TB sucked in 2019. That is simply not true. Read man.

Newton is twice the player that Kuechly was. the only one of those in the same discussion as Cam would be Steve Smith, they were probably equal on the field, though in what they meant to the team and community, Cam has the edge.

That’s some next level bias. You’re fugging out of your mind if you think he’s that superior. Maybe close to the same plane but come on dude...

Cam was elite as recently as 2018. He missed last year due to a foot injury and the last I checked the foot is a completely different body part than his shoulder.

When Cam balls out for a different franchise and we're stuck watching Teddy struggle to throw 15 TDs I guarantee you'll be singing a different tune

Maybe our definitions of elite are different. My definition means you are in the top 5-7 statistically amoung your peers. So lets rank Cam's 2018 stats;

TDs - 14th

Yards - 19th

QB rating - 17th

TD % - 16th

INT % - 23rd

Even if you add in his 488 rushing and 4 rushing TDs it doesnt move the needle much.

Does that look like elite to you? Or maybe it's me. You may have a different definition of elite. If so please tell me what it is.

??? Teddy's stats from last year were garbage. Every year played in Cam's career was better than Teddy's 2019. hell Cam's 2019 was almost better than Teddy's 2019 and he only played 2 games vs Teddy's 9.

poster you were responding to is clearly dumb if he thinks Teddy 2019 > Cam MVP, but ... you don't need to resort to hyperbole to point out that Cam, when healthy, is simply better than Teddy. unfortunately Cam hasn't finished a season healthy in a long time.  but that doesn't make Bridgewater's 2019 "garbage."  It was far from it.  objectively speaking it was an exceptional relief effort,

Nor was every year Cam played better than Bridgewater's 2019, at least IMHO.  Hard to extract a 5 game stretch to mean very much... If we really wanted to extrapolate from 5 games to 16, Teddy would have thrown for ~4400 yards, ~29 TDs, ~6 or 7 INTs.   Would still take a healthy Cam, but let's not be deliberately obtuse about 2019.  It was an impressive 5 games overall.

Cam was not elite in 2018.  Cam was elite for about half a season in 2018, but critically, his play degraded due to injury.  And he was injured in 2016 and 2017 as well. I agree Cam, when healthy, is better than Bridgewater, but Bridgewater is not necessarily meant to be the franchise guy we build around for long term here like Cam was.

Sorry, I missed Cam was MVP in 2019. SMH. Adrian Peterson is better than CMC in 2019 or right now because he won a MVP. You see the flaw in that logic?

How about TBs stats from last year? Are ANY of Cam's stats better than those? And granted it was a smaller sample size. And most elite QB that put up those kind of numbers would be considered a down year. You know that right?

yes actually they are.  :P

Cam was elite up until the Steelers game. I believe for the entire first half of the season until he took that vicious hit right on his throw shoulder from the younger Watt brother. I did not say the *entirety* of the 2018 season I said as *recently* as 2018

Tell me. has Cam ever had anything near those stats? And those are your words not mine. Yes or No will do.

Is this argument still going on?

Y'all broke up for a reason. She ain't coming back. Need to see other people. Get out of the basement and quit moping. Plenty of fish in the sea. Better off without her. Be prepared when she sees other people that this is the new normal. We're going to be fine.

There.

Can we just move on?

Man this will drag on all season, if there is one.
