Yes that is totally what we are saying.  Jesus Christ you guys are seriously butt hurt about cam.  I think we are going to be fine without him.

I can sleep good at night knowing the Panthers made the right decision.  I love Cam, and I think he was a truly once in a generation talent, but I also know that the Cam we saw three years ago (and earlier) does not exist anymore.

Newton has rushed for 9 short tds compared to Smith has caught, 58-67. Despite playing 57 games less than Smith, and the disadvantage of being a qb.

Not only is Newton the best player in Panthers History (so far), he'd be the best player for a few other team's histories. Would Smith be the best receiver for another team?

Consistently great. Cam was an exceptional athlete and superb most of the time but was not consistently great like these other guys. He’s my #4 on the list of Panther greats.

Newton is twice the player that Kuechly was. the only one of those in the same discussion as Cam would be Steve Smith, they were probably equal on the field, though in what they meant to the team and community, Cam has the edge.

he's already in the HoF, they have an MVP display. he'll get a lot closer than Kuechly to being inducted.

Lol you are up your own ass dude.  i bet kuechly gets in 1st ballot as he is a top MLB  to ever play the game.  Cam really had one year where he was among the elite of his position.  Love the guy but the NFL ruined him at his peak.

Love Cam, but Nah. 

Luke has a DPOY trophy, which is defensive MVP. Luke is top 10 at his position ALL TIME and has an argument for top 5. Cam unfortunately doesnt come close. Most people career wise have Cam (grab a bucket to throw up in) on Matt Ryans level. 1 MVP each. 1 superbowl appearance each. And other successes here and there. Luke is placed with Willis, Urlacher, and Singletary as the three backers right under the GOAT Ray Lewis.
