Per team, the Panthers have signed 29-year old DT Zach Kerr to a two-year deal. The 6-2, 311 pound nose tackle played 12 games for ARI last year. They’ve also brought back WR DeAndrew White on Wednesday - that makes TEN wide receivers on the roster currently.

We only have two DTs currently on the roster. One of them is on the wrong side of 30 and coming off of a season ending injury. The other one I think has appeared in two NFL games in his carer. This guy is a JAG, but we need bodies. I don't think it has any bearing whatsoever on what we do in the draft.

The Panthers have signed defensive tackle Zach Kerr to a two-year deal. Kerr, 29, spent last season with the Cardinals and started three of the 12 games he played. He spent 2017-18 with the Broncos and 2014-17 with the Colts.

This.. Just a body.. We need depth all over the defense..The 2 year deal thing is interesting.. Kyle Love replacement.. But no barring on the draft.. Still see a double dip at DT.. Especially since we're going back to a 4-3..

I really liked Kerr coming out of Delaware, and while he isn't a star this is a really useful signing to help the Panthers' run D.

A JAG but we literally need bodies/depth at DT, so not a bad signing at all.

If we seriously ignore CB and O-Line for DT, we are a joke. DTs are not as important and are stop gaps.

I liked Kerr coming out of Delaware. I don’t think this changes anything with Brown, KK may not return to form. For me you have to go BPA with Brown, Simmons, and Odukah. Whoever is left or who has the highest grade from our scouts.
