Chad Forbes: "If DJ Moore plays for the 2020 Panthers, I'll be surprised"

Sure, but who knows what they will do. They need solid DT help. They can’t fill that role just from the draft. Someone may get traded.

Possible. I just don't think we'll trade anybody the quality of DJ Moore.

Curtis Samuel, maybe.

Maybe, but you have to trade quality to get quality.

I think we need DJ, but they may think we need a quality DT more.

The only real credibility I could give to this would be the understanding that this year's receiver draft is pretty deep.

Even so, I just don't see this happening.

Yeah let’s trade a WR on their rookie deal. Makes complete sense Chad.

Yeah I mean that's what would probably drive the trade price way up. If they think they could get 2 1st's for him then I'd do it. But it wouldn't make any sense to trade him for a single 1st since he was selected in the 1st and has already performed well in his 2 years in the league. WR busts in the 1st round happen all the time.

Right now, nobody understands the needs, the system, etc. so I do not expect anyone to understand the acquisition of personnel...Just watch and don't criticize what you do not understand.  Saying, "I don't know" is usually more intelligent that pretending you do. No, it does not make sense.  But I assure you, these men making these calls have their careers and reputations on the line and the dumbest of them know more football than the smartest of us.  That does not mean that smart men don't do dumb things, but it does mean that until we know, some of the posters on this board are quite the drama queens.

Well, we're talking about a 22-year-old WR coming off a 1175-yard second season, still on his rookie contract.

We'd be trading away Moore for a slight chance at someone half as good as Moore. Seems retarded to me. More than the dumbass tweet the guy posted, I'm afraid it's gonna happen because Marty was probably on Twitter today and thought "URRHH DAT SEEMS LIKE A GOOD DEEL LETS DO IT"

It’s not that far fetched, Rhule doesn’t see him as a number 1. He’s a number 1. He might ask for a trade, it may not happen until next year. But getting something for him instead of letting him walk as a UFA in 2022 seems plausible.

Trading anyone with this stacked draft at WR is gonna be tough.  Maybe after the draft if teams miss out on their guys.
