Cam Deserved Better

What I’m probably going to laugh at is a new wave of years long cam haters that are now coming out of the woodwork here as new posters.... 

Many will not remember or maybe aren’t old enough to remember what the city and football team were before Cam put them on the map.

the most memorable thing about the Panthers before Cam was Janet Jackson’s Bare Boob on national TV.

This Franchise is fuged. Tepper better hope Lawrence wins games and fast because it's gonna be real empty in BoA this year.

I wonder how many of the hate posters that come out of the wood work will disappear the moment they realize we win 7 games with Teddy,... he throws 14 touchdowns to 12 interceptions again,.. and we are out of the race for one of the next years favorites?

our best chance now is to jump up and grab Tua this go around and let him sit for the implosion.

True. But its also no excuse that a 9 year vet to have the throwing mechanics that Cam has. Cam never really worked on becoming a better passer. Also, tell me the last time you saw Cam throwing into a timing pattern? How many passing camps did Cam have with his receivers? You can blame some of passing games short comings on coaching and the FO but if you are objective, clearly some of the blame belongs to Cam.

Hello, he had camps with his receivers quite often, and the timing patterns as you mention were part of major segments of praise when the mainstream dipshits weren’t talking.

lastly,.. I don’t think you remember passes like Cams game winning pass to Greg Olsen against the Patriots,.. go back and watch that again and tell me about timing.

What were the Panthers to do? He has been injured on and off for 4 years and barely played for the last two. If he had anything left, he would still be a Panther. He made millions here so no one did Cam wrong by any stretch of the imagination. Football is a cruel game and very few get to go out on their own terms.

Ok. Of course they would say that. It's team PR.  I just watched the whole 2017 over the past few days because someone on this site stated it was one his better seasons. I watched every throw. I never saw Cam throw to a dig route or any other comeback route based on timing. I never saw any definitively timing throw DOWNFIELD, not a wheel route based on timing. He did make some good throws. but not those. And no one who is objective would say otherwise. Heck almost every game announcers were commenting on the reason why his passes sailed was because of his footwork. I am not hating those are just facts.

the irony and stupidity of signing a guy off major injuries to $30 million a year when we are rebuilding and had a much greater quarterback with far less significant injuries for 20 million.
