I hope I'm wrong, but I think Cam's career might be over.

I'll take that bet on his career being over. Wager @hepcat?

Gotta define what career being over means. Do I think he will never be on a roster again? I wouldn’t go that far. Do I think he will be a starter in the NFL for a full season ever again? No I do not believe he will do that.

A full season as in starts a 16 game schedule in the NFL in one season?

Correct, I do not think he will do that ever again, nor even come close. Will we see Cam play for another team? Of course, someone is going to give him a shot. He's a former MVP and just passed a physical. That doesn't mean his foot is 100%, nor is his shoulder, hell nor is his state of mind.

He's just not the same player he used to be. Too many injuries, too much baggage, not enough left in the tank. He might have a very Donovan McNabb-esque end to his career. Bounces around to 1 or 2 more teams, shows a flash or two of his former self, but ultimately doesn't have *it* anymore

I will take a bet on at least one season with 14 regular season starts.

Terms?

It's certainly a possibility, but a vast unknown.

The virus prevents him from getting the physical that will answer the question, so he'll probably sign a back-up contract (1 year) and either spend the time i) healing [if he's still hurt] or ii) pushing for the job [if he's healthy, and winning it if he goes to an unsettled QB situation a la Bears or Patriots].

Haha I'm not a big better but sure. How about winner picks the avatar for the losers account for a week, and it can be anything

I think Pittsburgh will sign him blindly if he agrees to a backloaded, conditional contract.  While he heals, Ben runs the show--but Ben is also at the end of his career, and at best, this is his last year.

Cam could learn, heal, and take over late this season or next.  Not a backup, but a transitional move.

Kaepernick is good enough to play in the NFL and he's not on a roster either.  Every situation is different, but my point stands.

You must be blind to the news on him was a while back. Kaepernick screwed up his own career and no he is not whatsoever NFL ready. He literally put his own career to death nobody else. Cam didn't do the garbage Kaepernick pulled at all.

If that was the case how then did Brady get his done because it is in the same situation with the virus problem.
