P.J. Walker thinks he can start, trying to land No. 2 job for now

I think his potential is higher than Bridgewater. I would definitely not be against getting another long term starter from the dumpster pile(ala Jake Delhomme).

This was why I wished so for Sudfeld.

But Walker will do.

Maybe James Morgan as well.

Throw them in the ring and see who spins right!

I liked what I see from Walker in the XFL and the highlight vids on YT.

He looks great against lesser talent, but when he was on NFL rosters, he could not stay on them against the talent at this level.

I do think the XFL is a great league for players like this that just need a bit more time to adjust. Walker should be our QB2 and has a great teacher in front of him in Teddy that preaches film room. PJ is like a hybrid Kyler/Russ with a splash of Mahomes.

Sidebar, I think the Panthers are on the low trying to ride out Robby Anderson's pricetag demands and could jump on him if he lowers it more in the $9-10M range. The dots are certainly there between Rhule, Teddy and even Walker at Temple. I think Anderson is a luxury for us, but the Panthers have been impossible to predict thus far in the offseason..... so who knows.
