Teddy's contract has an out

People hate the truth man. Teddy is what he is at this point in his career. A game manager who suffered a gruesome knee injury. The FO paid him 63 million to be a better player than he has ever been. We'll see if it happens

So much truth to this.

Heck, let's discuss the kicker you just blamed for losing the playoff game.  Teddy put up 9 points.  It was cold as all get out, but 9 points is more to blame than a kicker (and actually I blame the holder on that one).

Russell Wilson only put up 10. Does he suck?

So many similarities.

Teddy might have the most upside of any NFL player going into the new season.  May turn out to be the greatest signing in Panthers history.

This is going to be fun to watch!

I don’t think it’ll top other signings in the past but I hope he does well.

I just don’t get the selective hate from Kyle Allen Nation on here, who says stuff like “Allen threw for more yards and TDs than Teddy HaHa YOUR SO STOOPID” while conveniently ignoring the fact that Allen also threw a lot more picks.

And fumbles. Please don't forget the fumbles. Even when the team was winning, he was putting the ball on the ground at a ridiculous pace.

Yeah, true, and I liked Kyle Allen alright. But it was clear by late November that he was seeing ghosts and had absolutely no pocket presence. He ran into three sacks against the Redskins (I saw it from the fifth row in the stands).

Hell, he had a couple pick-sixes called back for penalties that would’ve made his numbers even worse. Sure, he costs less than Teddy, but anyone without a glaring bias can see why.

You guys are going to end up loving Teddy. He was known for working with safety's when he was the backup to help them see things from a QB's eyes. He is beloved in the locker room and guys will go to war for him. He will bring the team together. For the fans, everywhere he has gone he is loved. Hell he was the starter in NO and still riding his bike to games.

At this point you have to really wonder if Ruhle and Teddy Dishwasher will both be here in three years.

My God... we haven't even had a PRACTICE yet.  Enough with the doom and gloom.  Everybody is so freaking dramatic.

I'm sorry Cam is likely gone.  I really am.  It's going to be OK.  Will you be?

No I wish he would just leave.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
