So basically we're saying Kyle Allen has more trade value than Cam Newton, who appears headed for his release with no takers.

It’s the not being able to get a physical from a actual team doctor that is killing the trade market for Cam.  What a shame for both sides.

Good day for us!!!  Picked up a backup QB and MLB without affecting our comp picks. And got a 5th rounder for a UDFA.

I think of it as trading Allen for Walker and a 5th. Could be nice. And we could pick up a developmental QB with that 5th if we like. I'd love to see Anthony Gordon there - if he's available then.

Then we could drop Grier and have a pretty nice QB room imo.

Cam WILL be traded, and it'll probably be to NE before all is said and done.

There is a reason he and others post videos of him working out and throwing.

Once he can get an official physical, we've got at least an extra third rounder in the bag.

Teams know we are ultimately going to cut him, sure. But there are some teams that would rather pay him what is considered a bargain for a former MVP on a one year deal than compete for him on an open market.
