The fact that Walker didn't make it previously could  be caused by many reasons but it doesn't mean that he hasn't the talent at this stage in his career to be able to compete on a team that have coaches who know how to use his skill sets.

and he's another rhule guy who knows what is expected and an influence in the locker room

Walker wasn't in the NFL for a reason. He won't be in the NFL in August for a reason.

It's all about managing expectations with him. 

Like the guy in the YT vid said, you have to think of Walker as a QB prospect....not a starter or even a QB2. I personally think he will be our QB2, but that's just my opinion and get why others might not. 

He just turned 25 last month and has 2 offseasons and pre-seasons, and NFL seasons under his belt to reflect on what he could have done better. He did destroy the XFL..... not just look good, but was one of the few standouts that truly looked like there was an NFL future for them. 

Give him a year or two behind Teddy and with Brady, and we could be looking at our future starting QB two years from now after he just turned 27. Plus, it keeps us from having to draft a QB early in the draft since PJ already has 2 years of NFL experience and one XFL season to polish his game.
