What numbers does Bridgewater have to produce for us not to draft a QB next year??

You just got mad because people disagreed with your opinion based on hypothetical scenarios. Your "rational numbers" include TB doubling his best season's TD total, by the way.

No I got frustrated because ppl can't answer a simple hypothetical question.. On a football forum built for hypothetical question.. How crazy is that?? So what?? Maybe he doubles those numbers.. Didn't Lamar do that this season?? I gave rational reason for it happening (while saying at the same time "I didn't think it could happen") .. It's not impossible only if you're not basis..

Seriously did he fug your girl or something??

I'd suggest taking your own advice. You've thrown out some absurd hypothetical stats for a guy who has never thrown for more than 14 TDs in a season.

That's your fuging problem.. Reading  comprehension strikes again.. I threw out numbers he would need to hit or come close to for "me" to feel comfortable in seeing him as a QB you build around... Not numbers I think he is going to do...

Do you see what is happening here??

Let me make it plain and simple..

WHAT COULD BRIDGEWATER DO THIS YEAR TO SEE HIM AS THE QB OF THE FUTURE???

Is that easier to understand??

Panthers are not drafting a quarterback in 2021.  If you wanted to tank the year you'd spend $14m or less.  That's clearly not the goal.  You also don't handpick a quarterback like the Panthers did on Joe Brady's recommendation if u wanted to tank.  I know Panther fans aren't familiar with Teddy, but step one is accepting he's your guy now.

That's not the question either.. I don't care whether YOU think their tanking or not.. WRONG THREAD..

What individual numbers does he need to put up to prove your opinion of him to the team and other fans??

Plain and simple..

Calm down, does it really matter whether people answer your question or not?

Must suck to give up before the draft even happens

I didn't think this question was all that tough.

Rephrased, what does TB need to do to ward us off from drafting a potential starting QB next year?  Not what did he do in Minnesota, who was a defense and run-first team by philosophy.  Not can he hold up to a 16-game season.  Hell, if our OL is no better than last year, you could stick an M1 tank back there and it would need repairs every two weeks.

I didn't give WOW numbers because my benchmark isn't really dependent on numbers, largely because he could do well and the numbers not reflect it.  He understood my rationale, we had a short and reasonable discussion, and while I still have not answered the question the way he asked it, he got it.

This is exactly why my original response said that to some segment of the fanbase, it does not matter because he will never be accepted.

As for his best numbers to date, he was a starter for two years in Minnesota, with AP lugging the ball and a strong defense (I think #5 by points allowed).  Latching onto that is about like saying if he was the starter last season for Tennessee, he couldn't possibly put up better numbers if he signed with Kansas City.

I don't know if he will prove to be good, bad, or somewhere in between.  Based on what I see, there are causes for guarded optimism, but even so, that was not the question.

Its seriously getting to the point that ppl can't spend there quarantine time talking football with other football fans anymore..  I couldn't have made it a simpler question..

You're the one acting like if someone doesnt answer your question exactly how you want then they dont deserve to write on your thread.  Kinda childish really.

Good grief, man...

Go back and read my posts. I answered your questions. You just didn't like the answers.

Why make a thread to spur discussion if you're just going to get fighting mad if everyone doesn't agree with you and praise your brilliance?

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
