No no no... Not to the level where they are fixing a rebuilt unit day 1.. They can contribute but they aren't fixing anything... We don't have the money nor the draft picks to fix or be decent on defense in 1 year.... 

1 30+ DT on the roster coming off of IR..

1 quality starting LB

Maybe 1 starting CB

And a new safeties combo..

New coaching new scheme new players...

You can't fix this in one season stop living in Wonderland...

If ya think about it, we ridded our roster of underperforming/overpaid players. You know all JR's and Riveras favorites, the entitled whiners. Hopefully everyone on the roster is competing for their spots, not by what they did in the past. Its actually quite refreshing to be honest, if a undrafted QB can lead us to 5 wins, shouldn't we be able to at least double up on that?

No because some of those underperforming/ overpaid player got you those 5 wins..  

Example.. 

Without  Vernon Butler you don't beat the Bucs in London..

Without Mario Addison and Gerald McCoy you don't beat the Jags..

That's 2 wins right there where players who aren't here now made impactful game winning plays...

No I'm going to get on the real bus with wheels a actual engine and runs on fuel not root beer.. That is headed to we are rebuilding the team and I hope we make the right moves to compete in 2023 land...

Just the defense version..

Kk (30+ coming off a major injury), Brown (rookie), and ?, ? ..  are going to fix the run defense..

Burns, Weatherly, Obada, Jones, Miller, Hayes will generate close to the pass rush last year..and improve the run defense...

Donte, 2nd round rookie, ?,?,?.. Will be the pass coverage that is "decent" against Julio. Ridely- Evan's, Goodwin and Thomas...

Shaq, 3rd round rookie, ?,,,?.. Will be able to come close to a all pro Hofer hole in the middle of the defense...

Boston, Burris,?,?... Will click day one learning a new scheme with new coaching...

All this needs to happen to be decent....
