I think there are probably two players (Realistically) that the Panthers wouldn’t pass on. Okudah and Simmons.

Simmons seems like the prototype for what Rhule wants. He’s extremely productive. He’s got insane numbers.

Okudah is a top 5 pick at a spot of need.

With Bridgewater in the fold and a relationship with Brady...I don’t see a QB happening. So...I think the move would be to trade down. Maybe try to acquire assets for next year to get players they want and get in position to move up for a QB. Next years QB class is exponentially better barring any unforeseen returns.

That mock I put up is exactly what I think will happen. What I can't figure out is what we're going to do. Might trade down.

I know we go back and forth on this but a DT is much much much easier to find then a stud LT.  And there are a ton of stud LT's at the top of this draft.  Its time to quit dicking around and build a solid oline

I would go Thomas at 7 (or whoever they have rated the highest) and then maybe Biadasz if he is there in the 2nd.

After 2020 and perhaps sooner we are again going to be looking at replacing our center and LT.  We need to build something sustainable.

Lt is a higher valued positions.. But like others have said.. You might need to get use to the fact that.. Okung and Moton are the starter and they have 2 development OT on the roster already.. And this maybe the plan and the Gamble they go with.. So far this offseason they traded for a OT and signed a guard while they only have 1 DT on the roster and maybe 1 starter CB (who was benched last season).. OT is looking more and more like a position they aren't going to address in the draft.. Jmo..

Between Brown, Simmons, Okudah, and Kinlaw we are gonna be just fine in the 1st

It's whether or not Hurney is gonna Hurney in the 2nd OR if we are going to take advantage of some of the talent that could be available like Mims & Cushenberry.

For me, it's Okudah-Simmons-Brown if all 3 are available (which they probably will not).

Okudah gives us a Tre White/Peterson kind of CB that will shut down one side of the field and/or take away a team's top WR if we make him travel.

Simmons is a helluva consolation get for losing Luke. It also allows us to run Simmons-Burris-Boston-DJax which creates a lot of confusion for offenses..

Brown is a no-brainer given that KK needs a partner. I don't care about his 3-cone as much as some, but I do believe we can find a very, very good compliment to KK in round 2, so getting an Okudah or Simmons means more to me at 7.

In no way shape or form do I want us to draft a QB or OL at 7. QB should wait until '21, if we truly think Bridgewater is only a temporary fix....which I do not.
