Except for that year he got MVP and we made the Super Bowl....

And he refused to jump on a fumble in the biggest game of his life. Then pouted like a five year old to reporters

Now everyone go check out the New England boards and see how Panthers fans should be reacting to Cam.

Thinking Brady is going to resurrect his 30 year old self at age 43 is just as delusional as thinking Cam can get back to his 2015 form after all the hits he’s taken.

Ron Rivera won 2 Coach of the Year awards due to Cam Newton---yet his job was always on the line (and he was not fired) because of Cam Newton.  Since Cam "did it all" they did not feel the need to surround him with weapons.  Hurney--the brain of the operation---focused on RB over OL (stupid), and Cam's elusive running ability to prevent the need to draft elite WRs. We threw numbers at key positions (RG, RT, LT, LG--we had a stable center for the most part), hoping one would stick.  Fool's gold.  Cam bailed them out, but he was taking a beating.  And RR watched from the sideline, with arms folded, happy with himself.  Many of us called him a fraud--complained about the beating Cam was taking--and were called 'haters" and 'racist" when we could see that the beatings were finally taking their roll.  I did not like Cam coming in; I thought character was an issue and I questioned his team attitude.  He proved me wrong, but we all have limited information.  Lesser men benefited from Cam's character and selflessness.  Cam gave all he had, until what he has left is in question--which is why I am for moving on.  From the time we drafted Cam, I was screaming that RR was ruining him.  "Taking a Ferrari four wheeling" is how I phrased it.

So speaking on behalf of the misunderstood, nobody hated Cam.  We saw flaws in his game as we would any QB.  But his charisma, heart, character and talent built the brand of this franchise.  So if you call that hate, you are a dumbass.  If you ignored the beatings and felt that 26-year-old Cam is coming back, you are misled.

I agree with this post... I love cam and I am mortified looking back at all he was subjected to.. racism from day one the fake smile... to being embraced only partly by some if the base... looked at as just a running back playing qb.. saying his 15 season was a fluke and then all the other things he took in stride.

You've been saying this for years. You wanted him traded as early as 2012/2013.

I think you know what you can do with your above the fray "my opinion is superior to everyone else's" remarks that you litter here daily.
