BUT, I don’t believe they want to move out of 12.  I’d love to see a deal where they go for the young face, year 1 in Vegas and mortgage their 2021 1st along with pick 19 (Mack pick) to move up with us.  They also have 3 thirds. Let’s pry at least one of those as well. If they want their QB for a decade, they need to fork something over. This gives us ammo for 2021 as well to move up if we need to.

I love this kid.  Brady loves this kid.  I think he’s a player we could all get behind and is a lock to ball out in the NFL.  So why not if we trade down? We have holes everywhere and this isn’t even gonna happen so let me have my fun.  We’ve got a ways to build so don’t mind taking a star receiver one bit. He’s got it even more so than Ruggs in my opinion.  Close behind Jeudy and Lamb.

Ross Blacklock DT TCU 6’4 305

He’s going to be special.  Like him ahead of Madubuike and Gallimore and he’d be worth a trade up.  Which I’ll softly project. Would be a perfect defensive building block.

Reggie Robinson CB Tulsa

Sleeper corner prospect that is fast (4.44) has ball skills but is actually a physical press type corner.  He may be rocketing up boards and I wouldn’t put it past us to grab a guy no one mentions during the process.  Outside corner starting potential year 1.

Harrison Bryant TE

A more under the radar Tight End prospect that I could see getting used pretty quickly.  I believe Kmet is off the board but this would be a great pick. One of the few who is good at blocking and looked really solid at the combine.  We also met with him already. Awesome size, there are some George Kittle comparisons out there, let’s get it.

NOSE TACKLE.....Our DL is a clean slate minus Burns and we don’t have Short for long. Get it.

Darrynton Evans RB App State 5'10 203 (4.41 40, 37 vert)

Even though you may laugh at the local kid/Hurney jokes, he’s going to be good.  Would be a nice shifty counter punch to CMC and if CMC finds another lane out of Carolina, it would be nice to have a legit running back behind him. He's quietly an athletic all-around RB.

I think we really like Morgan and he will be our pick in the mid rounds as a developmental QB.  I like him more than Fromm and Hurts. Maybe he’s a sleeper, maybe he sucks. But at least he ain’t no overhyped Oregon Duck.

Isaiah Hodgins WR Oregon State 6’4 209

Big Sleeper. Ran well at the combine, looks like he could contribute and fit pretty nicely alongside Moore and Samuel.  Had an awesome season up in the pacific northwest.

Matt stays loyal and grabs one of his guys from college.  We triple dip on the DL. A DE, DT, and NT.  Lynch will likely go higher but do feel confident he is a big target of ours.  

 

In review, we don’t land an OL or LB in the draft but I expect shenanigans. We're being weird.

 

+3 versatile multi-scheme DL (NT, DT, DE)

+1 starting CB which I find pretty important

+A star WR and one with a big upside in an Alshon Jeffrey type role

+A new running back!

+Sleeper QB/Interchange that for a guard if it makes you frown

I have made some slight revisions in the FA category, not changing my draft as that is the main narrative along with our transactions.

We got Seth Roberts (A David Moore type signing I expected)

John Miller (Again, like Lewis as a starting OG we needed to get in FA)

Basically, we've got ourselves a new LT and RG for the short term along with a backfill at WR. 

 

What I see is that we've set ourselves up to draft a WR, DL and CB high in this draft.  Could also prioritize an OLB, TE and C.  Some good prospects that I didn't choose at those spots.  Really like a triple down on the DL in this draft.
