And most will hate it, but were are going to build up the trenches on both sides. I expect 2 DT, 1 LB, 1 S, 1 OG. Not sexy but very effective in getting us back to be a yearly contender.

We are drafting for talent, not the underwear Olympics. He is the best DT in the draft and I couldnt care less what his 40 or cone was.

Does it even matter? This isn't a franchise trying to win football games right now. By the time we're ready to compete whoever we draft is probably gonna GTFO of dodge because he's tired of losing.

I still don't know how I'd sort Simmons, Okudah, Brown, and the top WRs

1. Simmons   2. Okudah   3. Brown     One will be available and should be the pick. Best option if Simmons and Okudah are off the board is to trade down.

So it would make sense to draft a guy like Herbert at 7, even if you love him as a prospect......to have him sit behind Bridgewater for 2 years (at least)? Wasting half of his rookie deal? Sure, sounds smart.

No. Simmons is going to be in the Cox, Chris Jones mold of superstar, becausethey can rush the qb. Brown is going to be a great run stuffer, but you wont see him getting after the QB like the others. He is still a bull in the middle and like his game a lot.
