New Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater's 6.1 average depth of throw was easily lowest in the NFL last season

I think this may be because what he was asked to do and the weapons he had. I've watched a little tape and he is very accurate on the short and medium ball but was not asked to throw the deep ball much. When he was asked to he was pretty accurate there too however at most I was seeing 45 yards through the air so don't expect Cams 60 yards through the air but still not too shabby. Another thing I noticed is he seemed to have a good feel of when to run. He has a better arsenal here then he's had anywhere imo. Curtis for the short and long balls, CMC for the check downs, Ian for the short and medium balls, and DJ for all 3. I wanted Cam back but am excited to see what Teddy can do, I don't see him missing a wide open Samuel running behind a defense.

14 tds 12 ints

He’s more consistent at being a worse passer.

Yeah why don't you use stats from when he came in for Brees last year. He was 9 tds and 2 ints. But keep hating. I mean if y'all don't like it there are 31 other teams to choose from. I would say go to a team that Cam will be playing on but that doesn't look like it's happening. Also to the guy that called me out and I said if Cam stays I would give up my account needs to own up to his side of the deal. He said he would go if Cam goes. Come out wherever u are?

It was reported a long time ago that they'd let Bridgewater walk in favor of Hill.

Hill is a source of heavy debate among both Saints fans and beat writers. The gist of a lot of it is that people don't think he's really as good as Payton believes he is.

Whether or not he is, no idea. But I've read enough to believe that Payton thinks he is.

Well January anyway ...  thing is people have to realize Taysom vs Teddy wasn't an apples to apples decision.  Teddy's market value was going to be more than $20m plus the strong chance that Drew Brees would return and you'd have to pay him too.  OR you put a first round tender on Hill for $4.7m or matching an offer that would likely not even reach $10m.  But what really allowed them to follow the Taysom route was the success of Lamar Jackson.  Ravens showed a remarkable blueprint for what you can do with his a strong arm and great rushing skills that Taysom Hill might be able to duplicate.  It's a risk based on a theory but since Drew is back for at least one year, why not?

    • Thielen, Chark, Hurst, Miles, and then Dionte as the answers to a pitiful group of offensive skill players horrifically backfired.  I want to see that 4.3 speed Thomkins playing over David Moore
    • And btw, you have to remember that T-Mac is doing all this with pretty poor QB play this year, on a team that's a mess with no other quality offensive weapons to take attention away from him.   Yet he's still 3rd in the nation in receiving yards with defenses knowing he's our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd option on every passing play.  He still gets open at all 3 levels and when he can't get open because of the double and triple coverage, he consistently makes crazy contested catches that those 6' WRs that are a little more explosive and fast, just can't make. If he was on one of those elite college teams, with a great QB and multiple elite WR and RB options to take attention and give T-Mac single coverage on every play, he'd be putting up bonkers video game like numbers. He's the straight up full package, if we don't end up with him, 5 years from now everyone here is going to look back and say, "yep, he was right about this guy"
    • btw, mingo supposed to play tonight.  we want Cowboys to lose for more than one reason, but they are imploding and their 4th round pick is ours. Rams started rough this year, we have their second rounder, and for a while it a in the top 10 picks.  they are going the opposite direction of the Cowboys.  I do think they have Kansas City after us, so that will help
