Yeah well its been a trend these few years

Yes, but trends change quickly just like the wind.   Enjoy the sunshine while you can because it doesn't shine on the same dogs ass everyday, if you get my drift.

In light of the craziness that is going on in this world, I would just like to share a little positive vibes to you guys:

My wife and I welcomed our first child on Sunday and he is just incredible. We are so beyond happy and blessed that we have a healthy little boy (who I think will be a future Panther some day *wink* *wink*)

All that said, to the idiots who are hoarding formula and baby wipes... Screw you! Infants need that formula sometimes to live off on until the milk comes in. Stores really need to start limiting how much people buy.

Slightly surprising, wish him well though, outside of when he plays us obviously.

Who wants to buy all my Panthers poo?

I’ll buy it, with toilet paper shortages and all... or I can just light it all on fire.

Joe Brady runs the same system.

I keep seeing this repeated by many others in this thread (so not trying to single you out, my guy).

Anyways, Brady’s system has similar concepts as Payton’s system regarding route combinations, sets, ect. But the exact same system? Not in the least.

Anyone that’s expecting to see our system run on Bank of America’s field (outside of when Drew Brees is operating it) is going to be sorely disappointed.

But even if it was the same exact system, that would be less than ideal for y’all considering Payton knows every weak point in his system and would scheme to attack that. Not to mention the last couple of years, our defense has routinely gotten the better of our offense in practice.

Does that entire Saints offense come with him?

Batteries not included.*

Other accessories sold separately.**

All the people saying Brady was in NO are dumb

The Saints literally have the best offensive roster in the NFL.

They had 4 Pro Bowlers on their offensive line alone.

We have a bunch of turnstiles and guys with concussion issues.

He will have a grudge against the saints

and now maybe we will now have a QB that can beat them...and the falcons

A grudge for what exactly? For providing him the opportunity to help resurrect his career and sign a $20M APY deal in the coming days when nobody else wanted him 2 years ago, including the Panthers?

But even if he does have a grudge then so be it, still won’t be as big of a grudge as he’ll have against y’all OL by the 4th or 5th game of the season.

But hey, if you can’t beat ‘em? Sign all their free agents! Or however that saying goes.

And didn’t throw the ball past 6 yards lol

Hey now! 23 of his 196 pass attempts last year went beyond 15 yards! That’s right around 11.7%.

However, only 11 of those were completed.

Oh, by the way, we are not only paying for 6-10, we get the pleasure of hand delivering a 3rd rounder to NO. I can’t wait until somehow they use that to move up and draft their QB of the future while we get Teddy.

Ayeeee, you already know it!

But to be fair we did trade a 3rd for Teddy in the first place. We got Teddy and a 6th while giving up a 3rd so essentially we only netted an extra 6th in 2019 and some solid QB play for 5 games when Brees went down last year. I’d make that trade again.

Payton is once again laughing at the Panthers.  He shows Tepper and Marty juuuuuuuuuust enough of TB last year to get them to take a big ole bite of that poo sandwich, and they did it.....good lord they did it.

And Sean gets a 3 out of the deal, and we likely lose a 3 comp pick along the way.

Unbelievably stupid.

The ol’ double whammy. She’s a cruel mistress.

The Saints chose to stick with Taysom Hill over Teddy Bridgewater.

No, the Saints chose to stick with Drew Brees over Teddy Bridgewater, hence the 2-year deal.

Had it been only a 1-year, this is it, deal then Bridgewater may’ve returned if we could offer him at least $12-15M for this year.

I still can't believe we aren't getting ANYTHING for CAM MVP NEWTON. Just gonna let a franchise QB walk huh?

The Chargers did that about 14 years ago and look how well it...

Nevermind, I thought I had something there.

Calling Brees a franchise QB at that stage is a stretch. He became one, but he wasn't one in San Diego.

The better example for that scenario is the Broncos and Jay Cutler.
