Maybe this isn't so bad after all.  We either get a QB for cheap who will exceed expectations, or we're right about him and he will utterly fail, and we'll be in a top draft position regardless.

Of course we could go 6-10 or 8-8 or 7-9 and just stay mediocre for another decade.

I think you have to figure that they're not planning on winning the Super Bowl this year, or next year, and maybe not even on being a playoff team.

That's not to say they're tanking, but it is to say they're rebuilding. And the rebuilding process is a long term project.

There is literally nothing about this move that says rebuilding to me, absolutely nothing....this move screams, I'm not sure what we should do, but we have to do SOMETHING.......

Very similar to the switch to the 3/4.

Yep. Nothing wrong with letting guys go if they don’t fit your plan but to lie about it to everyone is fuged up.

Jalen Ramsey was going to be a Jaguar for life, right up until he was traded. In fact, the team said they wouldn't take ten first round picks for him, shortly before taking significantly less than that.

It's the NFL.

I think the "bridge" in "Bridgewater" is a very appropriate term.
