Show me 10 great plays from Bridgewater's career. Show me 10 great moves from Hurney's last decade.

I do not disagree with you....  but all I want to say is that in my eyes the best years of Cam's career are behind him...

I won't deny that.

But I don't really know that you can blame this particular decision on him.

Yea, this isn’t Hurney’s doing. This is all Tepper.

Im a panthers fan, even if that’s from a far. We’ll see how all this plays out

yeah jordan rodrigue said a few months ago that both rivera and hurney are essentially cam loyalists. they wanted to keep him. so i think it's pretty evident this is part of the new regime.

i'm not from nor have i ever lived in the Carolinas. i was a 49ers fan growing up, but stopped watching football after high school. became a Panthers fan in 2002 because i dated someone from Wilmington in college who was a big fan and it just stuck with me. so it was a very arbitrary fandom, just a matter of circumstance.

i have no idea what i'll be a fan of going forward. if Cam ends up on a really good, fun team, that'll most likely be my new #1 team. if he goes to some shitty team like the Redskins i'll probably casually focus on the Panthers but be more of a general football watcher than fan of any particular team.

i'm kind of over just hitching my emotional investment into middling teams who never actually get better. replacing Cam with Teddy Bridgewater is a signal that they don't intend to win for several years. i'm not going to stay an invested fan of a team that might be good in 3 years. i could be long dead by then

There is a sense that no plan is actually in place.  They make moves that contradict each other.

David tepper, turns up to be the saviour, shows up at tailgates for high fives, parties with the fans in London, star of amazon show, talks the talk about winning but what so far has he done to show he's winning at all costs? Disenfranchises the best thing to happen to this team and throws him oit on the curb behind his back. This is all tepper and he has a lot to prove and today wasn't a good day for him. In what world is teddy for 20m a better idea than cam for 20m?

100% agree. We let Bradberry, Addison and others go. Seems like we want comp picks. Bam, we sign 3 guys and Teddy wipes out the 3rd for Bradberry. Weatherly right now wipes out the 4th for Addison and Burris puts us net negative. Seems like we want to keep Cam and retool. Nope, we want him to seek a trade. Seems like we want to go for the top QBs in 2021. Nope, we’ll try to be mediocre and win 7 games and somehow try and tell our fans that spending $20M on Teddy is smart.

Hurney is awful. His drafting has killed us the last two years even with 2 extra 3rds. Now we are going to blow any comp picks so Hurney has to nail every day 2 pick. Our plan is just throwing poo on the wall to see what sticks and that’s not the way to build a team.

I think most of these moves, as Mr. Scot said, have the hallmark of an owner and coach who have no idea what they are doing. I am as critical of Hurney as anyone else but I can never recall him making this many contradictory moves at one time. None of this makes any sense at all.
