If we trade Cam just to sign Bridgewater... yikes. That might be the last straw. If we're moving on from Cam, just tank. Don't sign some mediocre vet who might get 6-7 wins and keep you mired in that out of mediocrity.

No poo. Half assed. Trade Turner, but not for picks, for a 31 year old T coming off missing 10 games? Resign Van Roten at 30 to a top 10 guard deal? Hey, let’s save $20M on Turner, but now let’s spend $37M on two 30+ OL.

Getting rid of Cam for anything besides going for the #1 pick is awful. Might as well spend $25M a year so that we end up 6-10 and have to trade our 2022 first to move up for a QB in 2021.

People hate the tank word but damn it, either keep Cam and hope he returns to form and draft D and OL or go for the top pick. This in between garbage is useless.

Could we do what the Jets did and sign teddy to a short deal and draft a QB? Let's say Herbert, love,or by the grace of the football gods tua falls to us in the draft and see if one of them could beat teddy out. I mean the Jets got a 3rd when they traded him so we could sign teddy to a short term deal and he can either hold down the fort till a rookie is ready or he gets beat out and we trade him. But if we give him something stupid like a 5 year deal then I guess it time to ride the touchdown teddy train.

It makes no sense. If we're going this route, Turner should've absolutely been traded for picks. Re-signing GVR shouldn't even be a thought. Bridgewater? LOL!

I can fugs with this

It doesn't make losing Cam hurt any less, but I've been a big Teddy B fan since his Louisville days and am excited to see him get an opportunity with the Panthers if it comes to pass :D

I was a big fan when he entered the draft and was thrilled when the Vikings took him (have a soft spot for them in the NFC as all my family is from MN and they’re a respectable team). But his play in the NFL has soured me on his prospects as a starter quite a bit. Great kid, great attitude, great leader. Weak arm, questionable decision making (I.e. afraid to take chances), poor pocket presence, knee injury hurt his mobility. Not a fan of him at this point.

And I think with our OL and only weapons being McC and Moore, along with our 32nd ranked D (likely), Teddy will do just fine in getting us Lawrence and only 1-3 wins at most.

We have Joe Brady here. He's the one who wants Teddy because he thinks he can run the NO offense here. Teddy wants to be the guy somewhere. If we sign him, it's because he's going to be our guy for a while.

Marty is either floating rumors out there to make it seem like we are active but just losing out on money. They said they wanted to retain Bradberry and Addison too. So, there’s hope it’s all a smokescreen to not admit publicly that we aren’t trying to get better. Okung I guess might be to hope the dude has a couple years left and Little might get better.
