Guess you’re following the wrong accounts

That account has yet to provide us proof they actually looked at his medical records. Seems like you're assuming again based off rumors.

Talk to me when the trade actually happens, until then just be quiet and stop making up random rumors to give others false hope.

Cam hasn't been traded for a good reason and we all know why. You just pretend to act like you don't know why he hasn't been traded.

Wondering if the FO is expecting the NFL to shut down for a few months because Covid? If so, they may expect Cam to recover enough to trade him.

Or, maybe they're just being richards and the whole situation has deteriorated so badly they're just going to hold onto to his rights as long as possible to F with him?

I wouldn't give a front office that doesn't seem to be paying attention to the comp pick formula credit for thinking that deeply.

Stop the back peddling, I said jpafootball is a reliable source not the pats fan page rumor one and never did I indicate that

2. I said you can’t say there isn’t a market for cam unless you are in the front office or employed by the panthers or another football club, I said just as easily as you an others are clamoring about no value for cam there are rumors that other teams are gearing up for a potential trade, key word rumors.

3. Cam hasn’t been trade or released and no we don’t know why because none of us work in the nfl, so stop acting like your opinion on the situation supersedes others, we’re all just guessing at this point which was my original

    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
    • Well, we got our answer on Army today.
    • Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL.  In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
