How can you make Up a rumor ? If you and your best friend are so detached from the internet you have heard the rumblings of the chargers and pats reportedly asking for Cam’s medical report I can’t help you

Just because they ask for a medical report doesn't mean they made a offer.lol

You can't be this dense can you?

I don't need a link, because nothing has been posted of relevance saying that teams are interested in a Cam Newton trade. Which goes back to your rumor where is the link to this rumor?

there’s rumors for whichever side of the fence you want to be on, no one can say with conviction that there is or isn’t a trade market for cam simple as that

With Bridgewater now official, the ball could get rolling soon.

Wondering if the FO is expecting the NFL to shut down for a few months because Covid? If so, they may expect Cam to recover enough to trade him.

Or, maybe they're just being richards and the whole situation has deteriorated so badly they're just going to hold onto to his rights as long as possible to F with him?

BRAVO!

Although Instagram accounts rarely break news.

A physical.lol

How do we go about that brainiac?

Wouldn’t that indicate value by a team asking for this info ? or that they are considering a trade....again rumors but I can’t, just like you and anyone on this forum, can say that there is or isn’t a market for him

Rumored pats offer a very very low pick like I said if there weren’t any interest I think he’d been released by now, barring there working on details for a injury settlement

Where is the link to the pats offering a low pick?  A random instagram account asking for records doesnt count.

Just admit you made poo up and move on down the road

    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
    • Well, we got our answer on Army today.
    • Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL.  In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
