Panthers recently made free agent guard Greg Van Roten a three-year offer, per league source. Having traded Trai Turner, Van Roten is an important piece for Joe Brady’s offense.

Lot of eyes on what the Lions do at DT at this point, but they're not done with their OL, either. One name to watch: Greg Van Roten, who's started at OG the last two seasons for the Carolina Panthers.

Waste of money. He is worth backup money. The only reason he started for us is because we don't build very good lines with deals like this and drafting like Little. More of the same.

If that’s the case, 3 years, $36 million incoming.

I thought he was solid last year playing between two disasters at T and C. And I would think he fits the profile Joe is looking for in his offense. So I’m not surprised. As long as we don’t pay him stupid money I’m good with this.

But I’m far from an O-Line expert.
