I think Addison peaked 2 years ago.  Not sure they will be getting their money's worth from a 36 year old DE in that Buffalo weather.

He was good for us, but if he was looking for 3 years he was never going to get it anywhere except with former coaches.  The track record for 33 year old defensive linemen isn't very good.

Panthers will need to lose four more players (Boston, GVR, McCoy, Irvin) in free agency without making another signing that affects the formula to still get max # of comp picks after the Addison/Bradberry signings. Weatherly/Burris canceling the two losses out as of now.

Happy for Mario and appreciate what he did for the team during his time with them. I'm glad to see that these guys have multiple options where they've got coaches that they're familiar with.

It’s true. We need those 4 to sign and unfortunately since we paid a premium, we need two of them to sign as big a deal so that they don’t cancel up. I’d be shocked if we don’t at worst get the 3rd for Bradberry, but we have so many holes and we’ve wasted so many picks the past two years that we do need all 4 comp picks. No, not all of them will work out but with an extra 3rd each year Marty has done very little. We’ve gotten two starters and likely a 3rd in Burns (probably only Moore and Burns will end up above average starters) with a picks including 6 day 1 and 2 picks. That’s awful.

We need more picks so that if Hurney has to have Grier, Scarlett or Little we can still get a Crosby, Evans or Omenihu.

Any details on the contract size? I’d assume it’s decent signing so quick and as noted elsewhere the Bills are all in this year. That makes sense to me because of the TB news. That division is there for the taking. Although, the Dolphins signed a ton of FAs too and they have 3 firsts and 2 seconds. They could draft well and turn it around really quickly. Probably not, but that’s a lot of picks. 6 top 70 picks and this seems like a really good draft.
