Im fairly sure Herniay will "invest" a huge chuck of that incoming space on panther players.

Panthers will have the worst roster after the draft.

That quote was about the Dolphins. Someone was laughing at their FA signings. I was just saying not to laugh because they have the most cap space and 5 first round picks and 4 second round picks this year and next.

O I know, panthers will be the phins without draft picks come 2021.

Mariota to the Raiders is a big deal imo. Wonder if Gruden views him as "his" qb.

I am thinking this (All speculation,, mixed in with some trade follow-up)

  • Brady back to daddy in NE (Brady, Bill B., Boston--too many B's for TB not to Bee back)
  • Tanneyhill to Tennessee (Psychic powers strong on this one)
  • Rivers to Chicago ( A one year deal where the NC State QB pushes the UNC QB.  This prediction does not feel right, but the dominoes have fallen)
  • Bridgewater to Tampa Bay ( TB in TB is not To Be--While the Chargers are in play here, so is every team in the market--Tampa Bay will not get Brady, so they will go hard after the consolation prize; I thought about Indy here as well--however, they have a serviceable QB and pick #13 in the draft; Love could float into their trading range)
  • Mariota to LV Raiders (Gruden not driving Carr to Vegas without a spare)

Is Mort Anderson reliable?

He just said on ESPN that the Panthers are in contact with Teddy Bridgewater and Phillip Rivers. Said Cam is not a lock to be the Panthers QB and that he has to prove he is healthy again.

Mort(en) Anderson was an old kicker.

ESPN has John Anderson and Josina Anderson, and Chris Mortensen is often referred to as Mort.

What an awful trade. In a stacked wide receiver draft they trade away this many picks?

They must not be very confident in their own drafting abilities.

Can't believe they gave up that much. Nuts.
