To be fair there are not many backs like CMC who can double as an elite slot receiver. I would give him the money and build an offense around him. He is basically two players in one and you can line him up in multiple spots.

We'll have a much clearer picture by the end of this upcoming season. How things play out with Bridgewater will dictate the direction we go in by 2021/2022. If Teddy proves himself to be the guy then you build around what you've got. If he isn't? It won't be a particularly fun discussion unfortunately. There will be more fan favorites over the years leaving on ugly terms. It's the nature of sports.

Rams are looking to trade Gurley.

Seems like everywhere you look teams are trying to shed big money contracts for running backs.

Anyone in a hurry to give McCaffrey a blank check is living in a fantasy world that likely won't involve much winning.

I think Tampa Bay makes that deal

I think the clearest indication will be how much CMC is used in the new offense. I'm hoping we don't lean so heavily on him and see what our other young offensive players can do.

As of now we are just getting a 4th. May get 6 and 7 from GVR and Irvin.

Missing Seth Roberts. He wasn’t released so he counts against our total losses. We are at 0 right now because of Seth Roberts. SMH. That’s a guy you sign after the deadline so he doesn’t count.

We aren't winning a SB with Bridgewater either. Honestly, all he might do is win just enough games to keep us from landing a Lawrence or Fields next year

What garbage let's suck just to get a good pick. Lawrence don't have to come out and has said he would stay all 4 years. This nonsense has to stop, nobody knows anything

Hey, first stop whining in other threads. Second, Lawrence never said that. He’s only said that he wouldn’t sit out his junior year in anticipation of being possibly the top pick. That happened after the CFPs. Here’s the article: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2020/01/09/trevor-lawrence-not-leaving-clemson-after-college-football-playoff/2835085001/

That's his shtick. Comes in and makes definitive statements then gets fighting mad and starts hurling insults if anyone has a different take.
