REPORT: Tony Pauline is reporting the Carolina Panthers won't be big spenders

Of course we won't be big spenders this year. Every last move we've made has been to use this year as a cap sponge, absorb the dead cap hits from Luke and Greg (and maybe Cam, but probably not at this point). The Tre for Okung trade was exactly that - all of Okung's cap hit is this year, while Tre gets really expensive into the future. 

Then try to have a good draft, maybe move an asset for a pick, and start hitting the FA market next year when we'll have a ton of space and know what we really have from the last couple of draft classes.
