But Tsang said it had yet to be determined whether they would develop pulmonary fibrosis, a condition in which lung tissue hardened and the organ could not function correctly.

He added that patients can perform cardiovascular exercises to improve their lung capacity over time.

so for elite athletes it's a big problem, because they wouldn't be able to compete on the same terms because of physical limitations so they might be former elite athlete.

For regular people, now they have no excuses for not moving their fat asses because they need to do some excercises to get back to their normal level.

The virus does 20-30% permanent lung damage, so any football player, like say Cam, who contracts the virus will have to retire from football.

We’ve already had numerous people recover completely. Tens of thousands of people worldwide have recovered and that doesn’t include the ones whose symptoms were so mild they didn’t go to the doctor. Eighty percent of cases per the CDC are cold symptoms. That’s still alarming as hell, but it isn’t wrecking the lungs of every survivor. Hell, there’s a guy who had it in Seattle who’s been tweeting about feeling fine now.

This is not some stupid little flu you are fine from afterward. Who would give a poop if that were the case? Why shut anything down? This is serious.

Lol I agree this is serious but you are fear mongering that "source" was a doctor speculating based on limited data.

Could there be long term effects? Maybe but to spit that "this virus does 30 percent lung damage" is false

And we should all listen to your opinion

Most of this forum is just opinions, and you move along like a patron passing a buffet line, you pick and chose what you like and leave the rest. But you already know that.
