Players like QB PJ Walker would now become free agents, similar to last year when the AAF folded. Hurney signed a handful of their players.

It looks like the NFL will push back the start of free agency so we're going to have to settle for XFL player FA.

The XFL has suspended the 2020 season over the coronavirus. It did not rule out a return for a postseason or championship game.

However, it seems unlikely the league returns until next season.

That was made even more clear when XFL players were told they can sign immediately with teams in the NFL or any other league, Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports. The XFL will hold exit physicals Friday.

P.J. Walker, Cam Phillips, Josh Johnson and Jordan Ta’amu are among the players expected to be snapped up by the NFL.

XFL had some good games this season.   If they are shutting down this may put nfl in question too.

Gotta hand it to the XFL, they acted very early and quickly in response to this virus by banning fans from attending their games starting last month. Good for them.

Dallas was interested.  Dak thinks pretty good play is worth top $$.
