The rest of the world didn't make it so damn political. This country has never been more divided politically. Media outlets don't even care about truth, just money. This citizens of this country have been lied to by so many for so long there is zero trust or faith in anything anymore. Even in a time when logic should tell us to come together, we just can't. What you're seeing is the result of decades of lying without consequences or liability.

It's not the media's fault unless you are a mindless drone.

So CNN, FOX MSNBC and the thousands of other news networks have no responsibility for what the "news" they report as fact? That's like saying that you bear no responsibility for someone getting trampled after you scream fire in a crowded theater.

You can say anything you want as long as free speech, right. Truth be damned. And that's exactly how you get to where this country is right now.

We have been through this. If you are relying on the bolded then you get what you deserve. Out of those thousands there are some unbiased sources. You should be reading dozens of news sources besides those. Especially foreign sources. The UK has some great outlets.

And go directly to the source. Do some research.

Your fault.

Yep, and you look back at what you think should have been done differently during this pandemic.  Just a more current case of whataboutism, that's all.  I'm sure your 20/20 hind site going back to February is ironclad as what should have been done differently.  Please tell me how could we staved off this pandemic?  Locking down the entire county indefinitely and wearing masks 24/7 isn't realistic, so please enlighten me, how do we get rid of this in a real world scenario?

We all know the answer....stop with all the testing!

You and your fellow dumbasses were the ones who listened to the politicization. Virtually no actual medical professionals agree with your side. Stop listening to the politicians and start listening to the medical professionals.

Well were I am from (Denmark) we pretty much did that, though without the masks. Now everything is open again, sport is open and with fans in the stands etc etc.

Shared sacrifice and patiently playing the long game.

What an innovative solution.

Maybe instead of everyone being "holier than thou" and smarter than everyone else, you look at again, the reasons people are not responding to the virus the same way.  Not a lack of intelligence, but trust.  Social media and politics are poison when searching for the truth.

It's a lack of intelligence that leads to a lack of trust that is due to what is found in social media and spewing from the mouths of politicians. When all the virologists and epidemiologists are saying one thing and your idiot friends who barely graduated HS and a politician who is ignoring his own advisors say the opposite, well yeah... it's lack of intelligence that leads to believing group B over group A.

Absolutely, trust is the issue. So is social media, ‘traditional’ political media, etc. They all profit by building tribes.

But when a person chooses to side with politicians and conspiracy theories over the medical community....well that takes a serious lack of intelligence.

Lets also be real about what’s really happening here. People just don’t want ‘their side’ to be wrong. Believing the medical community would mean saying their side and ‘their guy’ messed up. Therefore, they need to invent crazy conspiracies to make everything make sense.

99.9% of the time the truth is the simplest explanation.

    • He made some excellent throws but he always has made some excellent throws here and there. I don't know what to think, which is what I was apprehensive about. Is he going to have a decent downfield game? Because okay Legette dropped one, but someone was giving stats prior to the bye or during it where he had two downfield completions and one of them was the jump ball that is just launched and fingers are crossed that our guy comes down with it, and yesterday we saw that again. The Russell Wilson school of downfield passing.  I don't feel like that is sustainable, but at the same time you have to do Something to make the defense understand they have to defend that downfield throws. Like i said, confused.  I guess I'm going to review the game for myself and look closely at his mechanics and stuff because if he actually fixed that stuff it explains the better throws. And that has been my biggest objection, or what I see as the thing that makes or breaks his chances, that unorthodox dropback and tippy toe action and not having his feet set which limits velocity etc etc.
    • The negative Nancy in me (or objective?) says that they had a bye week to prepare for the Chiefs. However, it’s one thing to have a good plan and it’s another to actually execute it. For all the flack he’s received (from me as well), Bryce seemingly has put his head down and worked his tail off and his play is giving me hope. The first 18-game Bryce showed no progression whatsoever. He gets benched, comes back, and has shown steady progress every week he has started. I think I’m starting to see what the Bryce lovers and unconditional defenders were saying all along, and I hope he can show that on a regular basis for the sake of our QB1 position.
    • Yeah, we could still very well end up 4-13 with the 2nd pick.   I think LVR has the inside track for 1, with only a JAX team as a team on docket that could be beatable.
