that is basically a list of some of the states that are getting worse and most of the ones you listed have been posting record bad numbers for weeks.  You can't be "getting better" until you stop setting your own records every day.

Nothing the CDC says carries any weight as long as politicians not doctors are making the decisions. Those states are out of control and there is no flattening going on. Arizona ICUs in over 150 hospitals are full.

a new day in the Carolinas....so you know what that means.

SC with a new record high in hospitalizations.  Another new record high. 1404.   SC also logging the highest one day death total of 38.

NC also reporting and setting a new record high of hospitalizations at 994.

 

We haven't peaked.  Heck, our leaders gave up.  America is basically that dumb dog meme in the house that is on fire.....as we approach fall and the up and coming flu season.

So if the hospitalizations are at capacity and new cases are growing exponentially, where is the flattening?

Arizona which had leveled off to 15000 cases in April had a big surge of cases in June.

I am pretty sure he named the 3 worst places in America.....and was merely pulling a watered down variation of it will all just disappear. 

All the numbers are bad.  Pence wasn't basing that on facts.  It was based on hope.

Hope and guessing might be fine if you are a cheerleader but as VP giving out wrong information which could cost people their lives in almost criminal. What a crap show in Washington right now.

I feel really sorry for folks that use social media for their main source of 'enlightenment' about the world.  If it's on TV, in a newspaper or even on the internet, it's got to be true, right?  I knew we were in trouble years ago when I had room mates that were getting their daily news form the 'Daily Show' on Comedy central.  Yes, they thought it was real news just delivered through lens of humor.  Sadly, these were graduate students.

Sadly, these comedy/news shows have done a better job of covering real issues than our real TV news agencies. It shows how far journalism has fallen.

I almost never agree with anything our moron of a president says but he isn't entirely inaccurate when he calls the media "the enemy of the people." I don't think he means it the way I do because he fellates any of the outlets that lick his boots. 

I do also believe that we as Americans are mostly to blame for that. When CNN shifted to 24/7 sensationalism, we watched. When Fpx News shifted to pure propaganda and spread obvious lies, we watched. So the feedback was clear, this was what we wanted. That part is our fault.
