were the 10 positive?  or waiting on tests?

that's an estimate.

things are funky right now with testing.

but these are people from the two main hospitals and the few regional ones.

we've also had a few deaths that are VERY suspicious but once someone dies without a positive test that is positive later then it becomes a HIPAA thing.

east tennessee has the worst air quality and lung health in the nation so it's going to burn through this region like wildfire. like we'll have mass graves in Neyland.

the biggest problem we're having so far is people getting sent home from work.

so the region where i work is very poor, very medically underserved, and very republican. everyone smokes, meth is rampant, and no one has healthcare. but it's also a big tourist destination so everyone works in the tourist industry.

So you have people in their 20s and 30s who come down with some kind of cough, and it could be anything (we still have tons of flu here), and their bosses won't let them come back to work until they get a negative covid test.

but we won't test them because they don't meet criteria

so all these people that are barely making it paycheck to paycheck are now not being able to go back to work

yeah, they've been complaining of heartburn. but people that have never had it.

also have some flu like symptoms.

Ive had some of the worst heart burn ever recently. I thought I was tough, I was crawling up walls for a good 45 minutes. I was not in control of myself and told my friend they may have to take me to ER. I finally went to docs, "its just hearthburn, lolz".....

Any adult should always have a stash of Tums somewhere in their house in case the dreaded heartburn kicks in.

Get some rest Fiz, you people are the real MVPs. When do you feel this will be back to "normal", best guess and add any other information that you feel the public needs. I heard form my nurse friend, she is swamped and they only had 6 total hazmat suits. They where testing people in their cars and telling them to go home.

things aren't going to be normal for the rest of this year. This is going to be very very bad.

as far as what the public needs to know, we're very far past the window where anything could have been prevented.

the most important thing is for people under 40, or healthy people under 50, to not go to the ER if they think they have it. Just shut themselves down.

    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.

    • Mustard BBQ sauce only. Bessingers or Melvin's BBQ sauce.  However Bessingers is the best in the world, Melvin is 2nd.    I found this article    In fact, the New York Times Magazine described the sauce as “terrifically balancing the tangs of mustard and vinegar with a wood fire's charry flavor.” While helping his dad, Joseph “Big Joe” Bessinger, as a teenager in the kitchen of the family's first restaurants, Thomas learned the secret recipe for the gold sauce – ... https://www.bessingersbbq.com › t...
