If the front office sends Cam packing, the hurt, rancor and rage would be unending.  Signing Teddy in that situation makes some sense.  He could be a bridge over troubled waters for the fans.

Not sure I believe any of that article, but I do still think Cam is likely done in Carolina.

Apparently the insiders have been saying the same for many months. 

Personally I am not able to construct a logical scenario that puts Cam in an NFL uniform elsewhere --- what's your thesis?

I agree, I don’t believe anyone will part ways with a pick that is worth letting him go, but I’m still not convinced they won’t cut him.  I  believe they are ready to move on with a complete purge of the roster.

I feel the opposite. If we parted ways with Cam I'd MUCH rather just outright tank with Allen or Grier (or make a move on a QB at the top of the 1st this draft) than sign some warm body veteran QB like Bridgewater.

Agree 100% in fact I’d even rather trade up for the qb of the future than sign Teddy. We have some good pieces, brought to make that sacrifice as long as it was a sure hit.
