Carolina Really Doesn't Have to Re-sign any free agents

Bruce Irvin is the only FA I like and he won't be effective in what's coming

I really think resigning Cocktrell is a must and even Tre is important. Helps keep our options wider in the draft. By getting these 2 we can concentrate on DL, LB, OL, TE and WR, then get a DB/S in a late round to develop. Too many needs not to sign a couple and they were decent to good (not good to great) last year. Both are good locker room and community guys. Heck even Butler on the 1 year pave it deal might be worth it just to keep our options open (say we don't get a DL in the 1st round).

But you're right, most of these guys stink. 

I say resign Addison & Boston with 1-year deals. We're going to need vets who'll settle for a cheap deal, know how to speak up & lead rookies via performance.

Everyone else? Meh. Maybe McCoy, but it would have to be less than $8 Mil, which I doubt he'll take.
