Meh, everyone has their favorite player in the draft or favorite direction, me too.  And it's also true that every year, once the combine rolls around, all draft boards get jumbled.

People have visions of what they like in the game.  Don't blame OP for seeing Jeudy catch15 passes a game in his mind.

I, on the other hand want a smothering defense, even though the league continues to change the rules against them to drive up scoring, I want tackles in the backfield, QB sacks, teams held without TD's, so naturally, I tend to go towards the Derrick Brown picks.  Heck, I even wanted to trade down the year we took Cam so we could get Dareus and add'l picks.  Its all in your perspective of the game.

I've gone back and looked, first round WRs of the past few drafts average a whopping 4 catches a game their rookie year.  Please tell me how this the catalyst to turn this team around.

I can imagine Hurney and Tepper having a conversation down the road something like this: 'Man, we are still allowing 150+ yards a game against the run, but that rookie WR is reeling in his 4 catches per game!'

cant happen? Ask Aaron Rodgers, Brady Quinn and a host of others that were to be top 5 and dropped.

We have had a very offense focal off-season to this point - I expect that to continue when we draft Jerry Jeudy in April and trot a healthy Cam out with CMC, Moore, Samuel, Jeudy, and Thomas ..

Yeeeeeaaaaaaah .. Panthers are winning Super Bowl 55 and none of you will have saw it coming except me. Cam will be the greatest QB to ever play this game. Shame on all of you.
