addison was way better than we ever imagined he'd be? we picked him up with 2 total sacks to his name, put him at 4-3 de and he was quietly one of the most productive DEs in the league for years and years on end. i've never understood how even his own fanbase underrates him.

Let Addison leave for a chance to get on a playoff team .  We are in a rebuild and need to get younger .  Lets calm down and see what the new owner and coaches can do . We haven't had the first draft or played the first game yet .  I look forward to seeing a new young team . Been a loyal fan from the begging . Keep pounding .

Love what Addison has done, but we need new young faces on defense. We weren’t going to sign him unless it was cheap and he deserves a good pay day. The question is does he go to the Chargers (Panthers West) or the Bills (Panthers North)?

Sucks to see Addison leave, but we aren't in a position to toss out big money to 32 year old defensive linemen. Not with how inconsistent our defense was overall last year.

I'll miss Mario's production but he has the opportunity to get one last big money grab and it doesn't make a lot of sense for him or us for that money grab to be here.

I love super Mario. You can't argue with his sack numbers and sets the edge well too. We will be worse without him but we won't win with his help for the next couple of years.

So I agree with @stbugs if you're not going to try to win, let him go with a thank you and take the comp pick. Clear up the cap and start afresh. The only guy I don't want to lose is Moton, our only solid OL.

Good for Mario, dude has worked his ass off to get to where he is today. I'm not sure us re-signing him makes sense for either party tbh.
