That is a very good argument. But practice reps and whatnot had kept him off the field, off the bench and out of a jersey on a number of occasions, and then we picked up a running back late in the season off the NFL's discard heap. Just saying, perhaps Jordan wasn't working out as much as had been hoped. It's that last one that might be the tale of the tape.
