Panthers interested seeing Little at Guard

Geez, are you Marty’s boyfriend? Big difference in screwing up 6 picks versus one bad pick. You might want to calm down a bit bud. It’s a message board, we complain. No need to act like an asshole.

By the way, Peat played well at guard but was at least a well regarded prospect. Little was not, only to us.

Your comments are asinine. You complain about O line value picks to be relevant then wrap it up in a total draft assessment because you’re just here to complain about Hurney. And what is this Saints apologist poo? Peat played well at guard?? Do I give a fug? He was a bust at Tackle and they wasted pick 13 on a Guard. Where’s the value? Little was well regarded as a prospect I don’t get what you’re saying— the Saints failure is better than our Little pick because why? Little played like 4 games and has a lot of physical  tools to be successful so maybe let’s wait and see how he does for a year or two before we decide value.

It sounds like you’d be happier as a Saints fan. You put a lot of effort into supporting them and shitting on us.

Lol. I only wish we drafted like them. Sucks to say they are a better team now and have been since the SB. Their drafting since 2016 has gotten them out of their hole and to a perennial contender while Brees is there. We, on the other hand, have drafted ourselves into oblivion. I’ll keep complaining about Marty until he has a good draft which we haven’t seen in over a decade.

Also, Little wasn’t well regarded. If he was this physical specimen at LT, he doesn’t last until 37. The only reason he didn’t go lower is Marty had a first round grade on him when no one else did. He also doesn’t blow the combine. Not just numbers but the drills. Did you watch the combine? I did and so did a bunch of folks in here and we all hated the Little pick, especially the trade up. Sorry man, if all you read is what Marty said about him then don’t give me the let him develop crap. The good 1st and 2nd rounders start right away. They don’t get replaced in year two by expensive vets who missed 10 games and then get tried at G. It’s desperation at this point.

Un-fuging real. We spent pick 47 and 77 on a LT who we now want to try at G. The Saints took a C/G at 48 who was a top 5 ranked C after his first year. So, 6 day two picks in 2018 and 2019 and we have:

Donte Toast/Don’t want to listen Jackson

Greg I’m now a Guard Little

And Grier

How is Hurney still here? This rebuild is going to fall apart and yet Hurney fans will point to how he drafted Simmons or Brown as how great he is. Lol, any of us could make the pick at 7, it’s going to be those great day 2 picks that we waste again.

Lol wasting day 2 picks...

Bro, use your brain. we can’t waste any day 2 picks if we trade them all, plus future picks, to trade back into round 1 and get a QB that will transition to a project Wr or maybe a corner who isn’t that good at corner but could possibly play safety some day.

If you're giving up on a 22 year old offensive lineman already I don't think you should be going around calling others idiots. But hey, do you bub.

Looks like Panthers are giving up on a 22 yr old they drafted to play LT and gave up picks to move up to get him. Hey maybe u will understand football one day.

I never got the hype for Trai.  I want dogs on the OL.  I want guys that get nasty and take it personal when you come for their QB.  He did neither.  Good riddance.

As far as Little, I dont know what to say.  They're thinking of moving him to guard after being injured most of his rookie season and after acquiring Okung?  Great.  As long as he can end up justifying his value from where he was picked, buy at this point, I'm not holding my breath.  And also, imo, Daley showed more promise as a rookie than Little.  If they're kicking Little inside, what does that do to Daley?  I'm guessing one is getting moved to RG.

Already two concussions in a couple weeks last year. Ok just remind that to Luke that played only 8 years. We have some real idiots on this board.

I can't wait until Cam stays and you leave the board.

Headline: Panthers want to try Little at guard.

My interpretation: They just got a new left tackle who is a former pro bowler and cost them $13 million plus the ghost of Trai Turner, so chances are he is our starter. This gives them a chance to see if Little can show some versatility and contribute at guard, so best case scenario, he actually sees the field next year and helps solidify the inside, then has the option to kick back out to the tackle position in 2021 when Okung's contract is up vs stay as our starting guard if we have an alternative at tackle and he shines at guard this year. Worst case he looks lost at guard and they keep him as the backup tackle when someone inevitably gets knocked up. If they don't at least take a look at him at guard, that would be foolish and stubborn.

Huddle interpretation: OMG!!! If he takes some practice reps at guard, that's the nail in the coffin! They've already given up on him! He's done! Might as well cut him! Stupidest draft pick in NFL history!

I'm not that sad about parting ways with Turner.

I'm also not so sure Okung is going to be any sort of an upgrade.

And I'm definitely not convinced that a guy who couldn't stay healthy playing on the outside is going to be better off moving inside where it's more physical.

Incorrect. Little was well regarded. He was the #3 overall prospect in the country coming out of high school according to 247sports composite rankings, which factors in the rivals, espn, and 247sports ranking.

He only played 3 years in college, whereas a lot of Olineman play 4 or 5 years after being redshirted. There's no doubt he would've been drafted higher if he stayed in school at least a year longer. Additionally, he was drafted 37 overall (5 picks after the 1st round).

I'm not giving up on him like most jabronis who post on this board.
