You Cant Tell Me You Don't Like This Draft (Early March / Post Combine Edition)

only thing I dont like is not picking up a OT but i covered a lot of bases in this mock. Got 2 talented tall WRs were sorely missing from this offense. Simmons isn't a Luke replacement but exponententially transforms are LB core from very underwhelming to  another great unit

Got 2 interesting DT prospects even if they aren't game changers.

Duggar is extremely talented and I beleive he's been scouted by the Panthers already. Mims has the obvious connection to Rhules tenure at Baylor and seems like a very obvious 2nd round pick if hes there. Pittman is just another big body WR who might not be as fast but has an insane catch radius.

Just a very good mix IMO and setus us up for success assuming A) Cam is healthy and STAYS health and B) We have at least servicable LT play from Greg Little or someone else

Honestly not a fan of Simmons as our 1st pick.

Sure it doesn't hurt to have a great LBer, but they've kind of gone the way of the RB in terms of importance on a defense. You need a stout front 4 who in turn make the LBers and secondary look better.

We need help along both lines over LBer, even with losing Luke. I think that taking Simmons #1 overall would be an overreaction to letting an all time great leave when the game is evolving away from needing an all time great at the position.
