Hello, it's me, Sam Mills Fan. This organization is falling off a cliff.

No doubt.  OMG, this team is going to be 0-16.  Bet on it.

Oh, the drama.  We shop an underperforming OL for a trade, and that means we are going to be bad for the next 15 years.

It’s comical. We sucked in 2001 and 2010. We got Peppers/Gross and Cam/Luke due to that sucking. We got to the SB both times. And people are worried that Trai might get traded? He sucked last year and the OL gave up the 2nd most sacks. We were only barely ahead of Miami and they traded away Tunsil and Pouncey. We drafted a guy at 37 and signed a $9M center and we were as bad as a team trying to tank.

All these Tepper’s taking the team down seem to forget the past two seasons. In the second halves we are a gift from NO sitting Brees away from being 0-16 in the second halves of the last two years. Our OL and D were both second worst.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Short and Turner making $25M a year the next two years isn’t getting us to the SB. SMH. Also, LOL at acting like if we trade Turner we should trade CMC. CMC is on a whole other plane of existence as a weapon than Trai. I’ve never seen CMC give up on a play. Heck, why isn’t DJ Moore in the same bucket of trades. He’s only 1 year behind and will be making boatloads too. The reason is they are in their prime and will be performing that way as our best weapons for the next 5 years.

Burn this MFer down and let’s get our next Cam and Luke.

I officially hit my breaking point today with the news that the team is looking to trade Trai Turner. Thanks to David Tepper's worship of the numbers, it looks like we're following in the footsteps of two very awesomely ran teams in trading away the entire team for draft picks: the Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins.

When I think of smart teams I want to emulate on how they run things, I definitely always think of the Browns and Dolphins and how much incredible success they've had lately. This will go very well. We'll have Ryan Tannehill, lots of picks, lots of cap room, and no good players of note. Tepper and Hurney and Rhule are about to turn us into another expansion team, only this time without the help of an expansion draft.

#TrustTheProcess doesn't work in the NBA and it sure as poo doesn't work in the NFL. Prepare to be as irrelevant as the Hornets soon.

Dude Turner sucks.

This is completely reasonable, rational, data-driven process upon purchasing a franchise: rip the entire thing to shreds, set a 5-7 year timeline for the “sustained success” recovery, and profit.

I’m not even worried about the Turner stuff, that’s just a leak. I’m just not sold on the plan. I have the luxury of being somewhat detached, as an analyst.

I know this is a tough time for Panthers fans, and I feel really bad for a lot of people.

Then again, maybe this is all a bunch of BS, and the team will be stocked for a run in a couple of months. Probably not. Probably more like a 2010/2001 tidal wave of horrible football.

I hope everyone gets what they want, in time.

Some of y'all just need to be patient here.  The team hasn't even practiced yet.  Save your barbs for then.

This is going to be our Panthers team, and they might royally suck this year.  We will just have to see what Rhule does, and how the Panthers perform over the next 3 years.

You always have fantasy football...or the XFL.

5-7 years?? My dude you know the life expectancy of a person is 79 right? So I’m supposed to wait 8% of my life before we contend again? Not all of us are 14 and have the luxury of waiting 70 years for a ring.

Fact is we don't know how good Tepper will be at building a franchise. He's making great business decisions so far but he tried to let the old regime finish what they started. Now,  he gets to put his stamp on things and people are upset after one offseason?

Face facts, we have been a below average organization since we came into existence. Jerry got by never saying a word and people were just happy because we got a team. We practiced in a damn ballroom bc Jerry was cheap.

If people weren't done then, and your breaking point is Trai Turner,  your real issue isn't Tepper.
