Give him the market value that will become a reasonable deal in 2 years when the cap increases.. Plus like Kung says all of this is mute until the cba is signed anyway.. But realistically his deal won't look crazy when White, Lattimore and The jags former DB signed for 18 to 19mil..

If you are going to spout off comments like "the cap is going up 20% over the next two years" you at the very least need to be correct, or close to it....you are neither.

A 20% increase in the cap would put the cap at $225,600.00 by this time 2022, that is not the case, nor can you count on that being the case with contracts.

  actual increases= 23.4M

Alright we're looking at a 12 to 14% increase.. Sorry if the math isn't perfect but it's still a substantial increase..

Actually had we traded Cam and full went rebuild mode, I wouldn't have been against trading McCaffrey at this juncture.  Of course with that being said, McCaffrey is an all world player.  Not just at his position, but definitely at his position.  Bradberry is just another name.  I mean I asked this earlier, did Bradberry make a probowl.  The heck you're demanding 15 million and yet haven't made a single probowl?

At this point let's not plan to be competitive until 2024.. We are pretty having to rebuild the whole defense and half the offense if lucky.. We could get Lawrence next year and still need to finish building a team around him 2 years later...

  Why would you even consider tagging him? 15M for one year on a defense that will be bad with or without him. When you could make it part of the guarantee and have 3 reasonable years after it. Sign him or let him go but just don’t throw it away on a tag.

I don't care about making the pro bowl.. Kk made it last year Tre made it this year.. None of us thought they should have.. It don't mean poo anymore...

Because we have nothing in the secondary... Again he might be the only quality starting CB on the roster.. We have no replacements and way to many holes to fill besides him..
