REPORT: Panthers targeting Ryan Tannehill in free agency

Would be dumb of Marty and Tepper to do they would only be doing this to use Tannehill as a bridge QB to either trade up for Tua and let him sit for all 2020 season which they should not even think about trading up with all the holes and needs on this roster! Or it's just to get us to 2021 draft for Trevor Lawrence!

This is ridiculous click bait.

So, our coach.... the new one. The one that has spoken with Cam a few times and came out on interviews and essentially said he wants Cam.  But, some B/R writer puts this out there.... okay.

Look, I'm pro-Cam without a doubt and think this team could make some hay with a few lucky draft picks, FAs and some growth from internal players (Little, Elliott, Thomas).  However, IF we are going to bring in a FA QB, Tannehill is not the guy. Bridgewater is the only name that makes sense to me if we are going that route. Young enough, mobile, good decision maker and familiarity with what the Saints and Brady run.

That latter part being said, I don't see how a 31-year old Cam @ $19M/year doesn't give you the best situation of the three options.

#clickbait

It could very easily be clickbait (though I don't think Freeman is known for that). It could also be smokescreen from us, chatter from someone else or just old fashioned agent bullsh-t.

The general concept isn't necessarily ridiculous, though. If a team isn't convinced their starter can stay healthy, signing another quality QB as a backup or insurance would make sense.

Not to a tanking team of course, but it's not absolutely established that's our plan.

One thing to remember: Hurney has an old colleague in the Titans front office, Ryan Cowden. He could easily ask Cowden what he thinks of Tannehill.

Also worth noting: Given what we've most recently heard about Newton's health status, an alternate signee like Tannehill or Bridgewater would most likely be the guy taking all the starter snaps through OTAs, training camp and such, possibly right up till near the season opener.

Bottom Line: No idea whether this is to be taken seriously or not, but as with most options it's possible.

Blood flow... to where exactly?

Is this the new rich guy version of Viagra?

here it is ..Did not say where tho lol-- no clue .

CBS Sports’ --Jonathan Jones ------said on the Rotoworld Football Podcast that Newton would not be able to pass a physical right now, though he might be able to at the start of the league year

Additionally, earlier this month he had what has been described to me by multiple sources as a very minor procedure to help blood flow — unrelated to the mid-foot surgery in December.

I'm going on like 2 weeks in a row of reading some pretty dumb sh*t here on the huddle. It's actually becoming a daily thing "welp! there it is the dumbest thing I'll read all day" amazing how many times i say that for one website. Gonna have to go back to not coming on here very often I lose brain cells every time I do. Replacing Cam with Ryan fuging Tannehill? Really? How is this a report on any other website other than TheOnion? What a fuging joke.

It was done on his foot. Prob an injection of some kind. Not a big deal.

In other news, let’s bring back Clausen and go full circle.

Again I will say, why does people think we plan on tanking? If a team I cheer for and spend my time plus hard earned money decides to purposely lose, I don’t think I can devote my Sunday’s to them. I mostly think it’s fan talk in order to get a top pick but I doubt professional men purposely lose when a lot of their money is not guaranteed and they can be replaced at the drop of a pen. Who knows.
