There's someone who REALLY smells like the pick to me...

Kinlaw is not working out at the Combine.

No doubt he is a freak, but Brown is a flat out monster.  Brown can play NT, UT, DE, etc.  He is a freak as well.  One of the strongest dudes coming out too.

From what I read and it stuck---Brown is the better all around player because he can stuff the run as well as pressure the passer--has versatility. (I think they both probably do).  I did not see either play as much as I would have liked. I do not see either as a 3-4 NT--an under tackle maybe.  Kinlaw went to USC as a strong side DE--I see both as 3-5 techniques.  Not an area I am comfortable diagnosing, however, when you have 2 beasts like this.

It seems to be him, Brown or Simmons.. To me if either is availble grab him... The OL should be addressed in FA.. IMO!! not high

Because addressing the OL in FA instead of with day one picks has worked out so well for us in the past and we have no real pressing need to protect a 30 year old qb attempting to return from serious multi year injury issues.

I don't care about the rivalry either. It's stupid to draft DTs in the 1st round and every SC fan who likes the Panthers begs for us to draft their best player 1st round every year. The year Hayden Hurst was drafted, people begged for us to ignore WR and go TE (Don't forget, Olsen played all of 2017 before this pick). I apologize if you had other reasons.

I do go to Clemson, but I could give two craps about SC. We beat them 6 times in a row and they have no end in sight to beating us, it's not even a rivalry anymore. My point is I don't go beg for Clemson draft picks every time.

I apologize.

That may be true for you personally but Clemson fans overall hold a grudge against the panthers and think it’s some kind of conspiracy that we never draft their players.

Oh really? Well there goes that theory. The way he looked at the senior bowl is evidence enough though. I would personally rather have Brown, but either is going to be a great pick if we go that direction.

Kinlaw could very well blow the doors off at the combine, don't be shocked if he ends up going ahead of Brown. A nose guy who can generate that kind of pressure and has that athleticism is pretty rare. Would not shock me at all if he is our pick.

I'm not a big fan of taking a guy over someone with better game tape because of a Combine performance.

Okudah only interests me if they let JB walk. If they keep him drafting Okudah would be a waste IMO.

Don't follow this one at all tbh.

Why would that be a waste? I don't expect us to keep JB or Okudah to fall to us but why would having two good outside corners be a waste? Let's Jackson play more of a slot/Saftey role too.

That’s because Clempson fans aren’t very bright.

You say that, but, for starters you spelled Clemson wrong. And in my experience Clemson fans are some of the best out there. I've actually enjoyed them in Cardinal Stadium. Not a fan base who you're afraid is going to shank you in the parking lot.

Just out of morbid curiosity, who is more likely to shank you in the parking lot?
